This is the easiest and most comprehensive course for learning ECM Titanium 3.0, the professional ECU firmware editor developed by ALIENTECH.
This online training is designed for both beginners and advanced users. You do not need any prior experience in ECU tuning or firmware editing. Instead, the course explains every topic step by step, using clear language and practical examples. As a result, even complex functions become easy to understand.
First, you will learn how to navigate the ECM Titanium 3.0 interface correctly. Then, you will understand how ECU maps work and how to analyze them safely. Finally, you will learn how to apply STAGE 1 modifications with confidence, following the original ECU logic and manufacturer strategy.
If you are looking for a clear, accessible, and effective way to start working with ECM Titanium 3.0, this course provides the ideal foundation.
In this section, you will learn essential software handling and safety principles, including:
This section is suitable for:
After completing the full course (5 sections in total), you will have a solid understanding of how to safely and reliably implement STAGE 1 ECU remapping. You will follow the built-in ECU logic and tuning strategy defined by the manufacturer. Therefore, you can work confidently while minimizing risks.
Welcome to the Course and to the community of ECM (ECU) tuners! Let us take a look at what we are going to cover in the Section
Let us see what is included in the package, when you order your dongle from ALIENTECH
Let us find out more about the dongle you receive. We shall take a look at some important precautions and recomendations on how to operate 'ECM Titanium 3.0' dongle (USB-key) and software
We shall see why 'ECM Titanium Backup' app is installed along with the main app. We will find out how the main app ('ECM Titanium 3.0') is updated and what is hepenning when you start up the main application
Let us take a look at the top menu sections and items. In this part (Part 1) we shall take a look at the following main menu items: 'File', 'Modify', 'Tools'. You will learn what subitems are useful for your day-to-day work and which ones are irrelevant in most cases
In this part (Part 2) we shall take a look at the following main menu item: 'Settings'. You will learn what the most optimal seetings are. How to connect to a proxy server (if required), how to change the GUI (Graphical User Interface) language, and even how to set a password for your dongle (your USB-drive provided by ALIENTECH)
In Part 3 we shall take a look at the following main menu item: 'Support', 'Info', 'Help'. You will learn how to synchronize your tool with ALIENTECH servers. How to view information about your licesne, subscription and downloaded drivers (map packs), and how to view the available keyboard keys combinations for quick access and quick actions
Find out what active icons do and how can you use them even before creating a project and before making any modifications to the ECU/TCM firmware files
Let us discuss the major things you should NEVER do to your USB-drive you receive from ALIENTECH. Very important!
Let us take a look at how to create a project. We shall find out how the compatible drivers are identified by the 'ECM Titanium 3.0'. What to do if a compatible driver has not been found
We shall see how to rum manual searches for drivers. We shall run searches based on the make and model of a vehicle, based on the make and model of the ECU/ECM. And we also take a look how to run a so-called 'Global' search based on your manual input of the make and/or model of your choice
Let us find out how to request a new driver (map pack from ALIENTECH) in case the automatic search for compatible drivers brought zero results. Or find out how to request a modification to an existing driver or addition of a new map (feature / deactivation, etc.) for the driver compatible with a ECU/ECM you work with.
In the video we will take a look at alternative driver search filters. We shall find out what custom (or 'personal') drivers are. How to make custom drivers. How to search for ALIENTECH official drivers only. How to search through the 'personal' (custom) drivers only.
Let us take a look at the coloring scheme used for drivers. By looking at the color you will be able to quickly understand the driver status
Finally we shall create the project and will take a look at how to accept the proposed (found) driver for the project. We shall see the main structure of the loaded map pack (the driver). We shall see how the maps are groupped together and why
To succesfuly complete the Course, you are required to take notes throughout the Course. The Course in essense is a step-by-step analysis of the contents of an ECU firmware developed by a vehicle manufacturer to identify the ECU operation strategy. Based on the results of the analysis of the OEM ECU (Engine Control Unit), the participants of the Course will be able to independently peform remappings and recalibrations (modification of the maps contained in the firmware) up to 'STAGE 1' performance levels
